Mallzee.com

You guys might recall a few months ago I done a wee blog post for Mallzee.com.
Well the site has since soft launched and I thought I should let you guys know just what its all about and why you should sign up now! Right Now!
You know that thing where you can't decide what to wear to an event, or you have something but you don't know what will go with it, so you ask your friends for advice. Well Mallzee is a bit like that. Fashion meets Social Media.

Mallzee allows you to create your own wardrobe using the brands signed up to Mallzee. You can add friends and chat about your wardrobe, what looks good with what? what should I wear with this? The important questions we all struggle with before a big night out.

Mallzee will also recommend items they think you will like based around your wardrobe (As if your need more encouragement to shop!) ... but heres the BEST bit ... Mallzee will pay you to shop! You will receive Mallzee Dollars whenever you shop through Mallzee, and you can use you Mallzee Dollars to shop more, the more you shop the more dollazzzz you earn! Brilliant.

Some of my favourite brands to sign up are ASOS, Forever 21, Motel Rocks and Urban Outfitters. There are loads more to choose from.

Ive signed up! So now you guys should too :) and if you sign up, my readers will get VIP membership, which means you get access to give aways, special discounts and early access to even more exciting stuff!

This look is probably as "sporty" as I'll go. I do love the whole Sport Luxe style! I think because I really like laid back comfortable fashions. I like basics and I am always mixing them with strong accessories and more embellished pieces. That's the trick. Think about it. Black baseball cap, meh. Black baseball cap covered in diamonds, yey!

So that was my thinking here, mixing my casual basic dress with this fancy top and accessories. Keeping it casual with my gutties (Plimpsoles for all you non Scots) and jersey dress and Jazzing it up with the top an my accessories. I really liked this look, I don't really think the pictures do it justice to be honest, I took them in 5 mins before I ran for my bus.

Gotta get myself a photographer boyfriend ...
and one of those embellished baseball caps ...

I'm doing well at getting back in to this blog malarkey. Blogged almost everyday. Snaps for Bran :)

This is what I wore to work today (Since the only place I ever go these days is work!) This top is years old, but it would be really easy to DIY. Really jazzes up a plain striped top, and I got compliments on it all day. This  skirt I got a while ago but I'm sure there will still be some left in Primark. Think its going to be really good in summer, and you can wear it like this casually or bling it up  for nights out, think it cost like £6 so  not a bad wee basic. Even better if you've got a good pair of pins, and not wee stub legs like me!

This was what I wore to work yesterday, I have no idea what possessed me, sometimes that happens, you just pick random bits and it ends up being something you really like. I feel like I'm a little gothic recently, which is odd because I've been in a really good mood the last few weeks. Continuing to add neon to outfits to add a splash of colour, I don't think I will ever stray from neon jewellery, I just love the bright bright colours! The bright bold colours mixed with diamonds ... it screams tacky, yet it works.

My hair has been in the bloody bun ever since I took my weave out, I'm doing something very exciting with my hair next week (no change there) and I CAN'T WAIT to fill you guys in on it!!! Until then though theres not much more I can do with it than this.

Bright Basics.

This is what I wore out on Saturday night. For nights out I always like something basic and then accessorise it up rather than wear something quite fancy, I can't really pull off fancy. It was £7.99, can you believe that? I also got it in a charcoal and if it comes in any other colours I'm sure I'll be buying those too. I love the length of it as I'm loving the below the knee thing thats going on right now, I really need to invest in a variety of tube skirt, in lots of different colours.

This weekend I had the WHOLE weekend off! What? In Retail? Its a miracle! We decided since me and Melody were both off to make it the best Saturday we could. This included Lunch, Shopping and then a night out, the perfect Saturday!

We headed into the West End for shopping, Melodys never been so I was excited to show her about and take her round my favourite Charity Shops and Vintage shops! I got loads of Jewellery from Vintage Guru, who were raising money for Erskine in Honor of VE day. The girls were all dressed in their best military attire, I wish I had gotten photos, they looked gorgeous. I didn't get anything else though, for once.

I'm not back at work till Tuesday now so I'm making the most of some much needed time off!

This outfit is my take on a more "Rock Chick" look with a feminine twist, obviously clashing the red in my Guns n Roses tshirt with the red skirt and adding the leopard shoes, which I think always give a more rocky edge to any outfit.

I'm enjoying a much needed 4 days off this week, I'm so exhausted! Believe me, I need a rest, So I intend to get a lot more outfit snaps and I am closer everyday to sharing some exciting plans with you guys that I have been keep secret for a while! :)

More Neon.

This little aztek dress is actually my sisters, I was going to buy it but could'nt get my size and then she bought it, so now I just steal it. I really like adding neon to all black outfit because I think it makes the black less hard and the neon less, tacky.

I'm trying to get in to a better routine work wise, deciding what to wear the night before and planning outfits ahead of time so that I'm not running out the door 5 minuets before work wearing something I hate. If I'm ready on time it means I have time to take some OOTDs, everybody wins.

I'm being a good blogger and currently sitting writing up posts for the week.
It feels so good. I was lost without my computer!

I Need an Appointment.

Last week I was invited along to the Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards: Finalist Announcement.
Held in the gorgeous Appartment 29 in Glasgow, it was a lovely night of wee nibbles, mini make overs, wine and catching up with my bloggy babes, who I've missed seeing since I've kind of been in hiding for a month or two.

However I'm back, and I was really excited about this event. The night started with the founders of INAA (I Need an Appointment) introducing the company and giving us an insight into how it all came about and what the hopes and goals for the future are. INAA is an online salon booking service, conecting us to salons in our ares whenever we need them. Think about it, its Saturday morning, you make last minuet excting plans, but your hairs a bit of a riot, INAA will hook you up! Easy!

We then headed through to mingle and talk some of the brands involved. Some of the girls got thier hair done, which made me wish I haden't done mines and could have jumped at the oppertunity of a wee spruce up!

All in all a lovely night and great to meet some new faces and catch up with some old ones.

Thankyou to the lovely ladies over at INAA and Alison Jameson PR for inviting me along and a huge good luck on the night to all the Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards Finalists!
