On Tuesday night I headed along to one of my favorite stores in Glasgow, Abandon Ship Apparel, for the launch of their new Girls Collection!
I've spoke about ASA a lot on the blog, I bloody love the brand and I've been waiting for this launch for what seems like endless months.
The night was basically just an in store party to shop the collection before it went live online and a great excuse for us girls to get together to drink gin, eat DELICIOUS donuts, get our nails and hair did and of course have chit chat.
I bought the Pastel Pink Wheel Raglan which I seen at the London store launch earlier in the week and I knew that was the one I had to have. I have the green tartan raglan already and I wear it loads.
The collection stays true to the ASA styles in terms of simple cuts and silhouettes with their staple patterns like the ASA tartan and Mandala print. However they have thrown in some random new ideas wich keep the collection fresh and bold, like the new Whatamelon and Pastel Puppies designs.
I love that the collection has found the right balance of staying true to what they are good at. Making the collection sexy and femine yet still edgy enough for non girlie girls to pull off.
Well done Abandon Ship, I am very impressed, and will soon be very skint.
